How to Cook Live Crabs:
Pour 1 inch of water into a cooking Pot. Place a raised rack into the pot. Place Live Crabs into pot and season each layer of Crabs with desired amount of seasoning. (J.O. Spice or Old Bay). Close lid and steam for 25-30 minutes. Count time from when water boils. Crabs should be bright red/orange in color. Open lid after 25-30 minutes to stop the cooking process. Serve.
How to heat/Re-steam cooked Crabs:
Pour 1 inch of water into a cooking Pot. Place a raised rack into the pot. Place each Crab into pot and steam for about 10 minutes. Add more Spice if desired. (Count time from when water boils- 10 minutes ONLY). Serve.
How to Cook Crab Cakes:
Warm oven to 400 degrees F. Open frozen crabcakes in vacuum sealed pouch. Place crab cakes on a non-stick surface (pan, tray...) once temperature in oven reaches 400 degrees F. Bake crab cakes for 20 minutes, then take out and serve.
